First impressions: 9.3/10
The Silk by CBX is an indica-leaning hybrid strain, crossing Cereal Milk with Kush Mountains Pheno #336. This jar came filled with medium-large, fluffy nugs, carrying deep green hues contrasted by bright orange hairs and a serious dusting of trichomes. The cure is excellent, as I have come to expect from Cannabiotix. Testing is as follows:
Package date: 12/20/22
THC: 30.06%
Cannabinoids: 30.31%
Terpenes: 4.08% ‼️
Smell/Taste: 8.9/10
This strain is loud, and takes aspects from both of its parents, resulting in a creamy citrus and floral aroma, with lemon, sweet cream, and lavender taking over the show. Not terribly unlike the cereal milk on its own, but with a floral twist. The taste matches up well, with a creamy finish and lavender aftertaste that is quite pleasing. The smoke does get a bit heavy, but the burn is solid.
Effects: 9.4/10
Strongly sedating high here that kicks in over 5-10 minutes, starting behind the eyes and pouring over into a full body effect. This one is euphoric and floaty and puts you on cloud nine, great for an evening smoke or something right before bed to help those with trouble sleeping. Long duration.
Overall: 9.2/10
