Lavender Goo by UpNorth - In Depth Strain Review

Lavender Goo is a potent Indica-leaning hybrid cannabis strain by UpNorth, bred by crossing Afghani X Purple Kush. Today I'll be reviewing a 3.5g jar of this strain today, purchased from Royal Healing Emporium in Lompoc, CA. Let's dive in!

Check out our newly launched Shop - with High Quality Glass and Quartz for the cost-conscious connoisseur.

First Impressions: 9.3/10

Breaking into the jar, there are 5 nugs in total, all medium-large in size, and very Christmas-tree shaped. The nugs are absolutely caked in trichomes, featuring light and dark green hues and bright orange hairs, contrasted by a nice dusting of crystals. Well cured, a touch dry if anything. Testing as follows:

Package date: 3/16/2023

Total THC: 41.84%

Total cannabinoids: 48.98% (I have a hard time believing this personally)

Total terpenes: 3.33%

Dominant Terpenes: beta-Caryophyllene, beta-Myrcene, Limonene, Linalool

Smell/Taste: 9.4/10

This strain is loud, with the smell hitting you before your nose gets anywhere near the jar. It is sweet and lemony with heavy floral scents, with slight fuel and spice. The taste matches well, with the flavor reminiscent of sweet gas and lavender. Really pleasant and potent smoke. Excellent burn and cure. White ash.

Effects: 9.6/10

Slow rolling heavy high that kicks in over 5 minutes or so. Starts with a calm weight behind the eyes that persists for the long peak effect. This is accompanied by a wavy euphoria that is giggly and joyful, but sedative as well. Definitely induces mild hunger and put me in a nice Zen state.

Overall: 9.4/10
