Holy Moly! by Fig Farms - In Depth Strain Review - Westcoastcanna

Updated: Apr 29, 2023

First Impressions: 9.5/10

Holy Moly is a zippy sativa leaning hybrid strain from Fig Farms, bred by crossing Banana Fig X Animal Mints 198. The nugs are beautiful, so frosted you can barely tell the color is a deep olive green with purple hues. These nugs have elongated calyxs and the type of funky structure we love to see. The flower is well cured, and it is definitely not overdried like we see a lot lately. Testing as follows:

Package Date: 11/22/22

THC: 36.11%

Total Cannabinoids: 44.47%

Smell/Taste: 10/10

Holy Moly has a really unique profile that i have rarely found in different strains. It is pucker tart with underripe banana, light citrus rinds, and a subtle cheese profile, accompanied by a slight minty/garlic effect similar to thin mint cookies. Really different and strong even at arms length. The taste is similar, with the banana and cheese really coming forward, and a sour + slightly spicy finish. Fairly clean burn, with white and pepper flaked ash. Medium-long duration.

Effects: 9.5/10

Really rapid onset head high that almost leaves you reeling for a moment. This evens out and is matched by a zippy body buzz over 5-10 minutes. There is significant weight behind the eyes, but it is not tiring and imbues you with a nice level of stoney energy for your creative tasks

Overall: 9.7/10

This strain is a standout for sure, with unique looks, smell and smoke, and a potent and lasting high. I recommend grabbing this one, and believe it is worth full price, which says something
