Cold Fire X Team Elite Genetics - Styrofoam Cup 1G Cartridge Review

Updated: Jul 1, 2023

Styrofoam cup by Team Elite Genetics is an Indica strain, bred by crossing Sunset Sherbert and GMO (aka MSG) bred by Cannarado Genetics. Cold Fire tends to do justice to great strains like this, so we were super excited to try this out.

First Impressions: 9/10

The Cold Fire packaging is super simple and clean, featuring a cardboard box with clear labeling and strain info, with tissue paper and a catridge inside a pop container inside. I love how non-wasteful this is in comparison to others. The cart itself is ceramic and really visually appealing, and this one performed well all the way to the bottom, with no leakage or clogging. The price is a bit high compared to the rest of the menu, more expensive than some rosins. Testing as follows:

Package Date: 1/12/2023

THC: 87.3%

Terps: 10.4%

Taste: 10/10

Super strong and unique flavor, tasting like combination of fresh baked cookies and garlic + truffle. It is definitely different, and tastes just like the flower for those who have tried it before. The terps really shine through here and leave a strong aftertaste. Really cant find anything to complain about in this department, though I am sure there are people who do not like the unique flavor due to personal preference.

Effects: 9.5/10

A nice subtle head change kicks in quickly after hitting this pen, with a noticeable calming effect. Over a few minutes it builds into a fairly strong couchlocking/euphoric indica high that would be helpful for those who use cannabis for sleep or appetite stimulation. Long effect peak duration.

Overall: 9.5/10

When looking at this cartridge, I think that the only real downside is its price. It is one of the hardest hitting and most consistently performing vapes I have had in recent times, and definitely justifies its cost in an over-saturated market filled with average oil in unreliable hardware.
